February 13 | Arrivals in Puri via Bhubaneshwar (BBSR)

Evening: Welcome and Inauguration with all assembled Participants, Conveners and Speakers.

Day 1: February 14 | Oceanic Devotion – Jagannath & Gopinath Theme: Embodiment & Bhakti

Theme: Embodiment & Bhakti (5 Am Onwards)

5:00 AM: Darshan – Jagannath Temple (Indians) / Singh Darwaja (non-Indians)

7:30 AM: Breakfast at Tota Gopinath, followed by darshan, prasad, and discussion with Surya Roy at Jagannath (Indians) and with Dr. Aurojyoti & Sukhvinder Sircar at Tota Gopinath (non-Indians)

Afternoon: Maha Prasad at hotel

Evening: Bhakti satsang with Sukhvinder Sircar on Radha Bhaav, Raas Leela, and Geeta Govind; followed by an Odissi performance

Day 2: February 15 | Mahashivratri! Sacred Union of Power & Love – Chausath Yogini & Shiva Temples

Theme: The Yogini Mysteries & Divine Love of Shiva-Shakti

Early Morning: Visit to Lingaraj / Parashurameshwar Temples (non-Indians: Parashurameshwar)

Late Morning / Afternoon: Chausath Yogini visit with puja and talk by Dr. Adyasha Das – “The Yogini Mysteries”

Evening: Return to Puri

Session with Vinay Varanasi (TBC) – “The Glory of Lingaraja, the Rahasya of Bhuvaneshwari Devi”

Satsang – “Shiva-Shakti Dynamics in Tantra”

Day 3: February 16 | Shakti in Art – Konark & Kakatpur

Theme: Shringar Rasa & Artistic Devotion

Morning: Zoom talk by Seema Kohli – “A Circle of Our Own: The 64 Yoginis as Creative Muses”; followed by a talk by Dr. Usha RK – “Shringar Rasa in Odissi & Indic Art”; journaling prompt – “Where do I see Shakti in myself?”

Afternoon: Depart to Konark & Mangala Temples

Evening: Return to Puri for dinner

Day 4: February 17 | Fiery Mothers – Saptamatrika, Biraja Jajpur

Theme: Fear Not! Life & Death in the arms of the Mother

Morning: Session with Maa Gyaan Suveera on “Living Fearlessly as Shakti” and initiation mantra for Ma Chandi

Afternoon: Visit to Biraja Temple (Shaktipeeth) with sthalpuran of ‘Nabhigaya’, followed by Saptamatrika Temples on the Vaitarni River and a session on “The Saptamatrika Within” by Maa Gyaan Suveera

Evening: Return to Puri for dinner

Day 5: February 18 | Retreat Day in Puri

Theme: Shakti-Bhakti-Prakriti-Shringar – She Who Is It All

Morning: Talk by Prof. Anamika Roy on “The 64 Yogini Cult of India”, followed by a session by Devipuram – “Living Tantra: Exploring Shakti, Spirituality, and Sensuality”

Afternoon: Signature sessions by Devipuram on Hamsa Meditation and Kalavahana

Evening: Zoom presentation by Prof. Frederique Apffel Marglin and Dr. Shriya Patnaik – “The Life and Death of a Very Ancient Female Tantric Institution: The Devadasis of Jagannath”

Day 6: February 19 | Her Queendoms of Water – Kalijai & Chilika Boat Journey

Theme: Goddess And The Elements

Morning: Day trip to Kalijai Island & Temple on Chilika Lake, including a boat ride with a live speaker session – “Forgotten Goddesses of India”

Afternoon: Visit to Ugra Tara Temple with sthalpuran by a local expert; followed by a talk by Maa Gyaan Suveera – “The Healing Power of Ugra Tara as a DashaMahavidya”, with optional mantra initiation

3:00 PM: Departure from Chilika

8:00 PM: Dinner at Puri

Day 7: February 20 | Unifying Faiths in Shakti & Bhakti

Theme: Odisha’s unique Tantric confluence of Faith

Morning (8:00–10:00 AM): Beach yoga and meditation

Daytime: Sessions with Devipuram at Puri or optional half-day trip to Bhubaneswar (TBC)

Afternoon: Zoom session with Dr. Neela Bhattacharya Saxena – “Jagannath is Equally the Buddha and Kali: A Liberatory Ecosystem of Shakta Philosophy and Orissa’s Tantric Heritage”

Evening: Free time to explore handicrafts museums and local markets

9:30 PM: Dinner

Day 8: February 21 | The Mother's Birthday! Closing Ceremony at Puri Beach, Consecrating Sri Yantra

Theme: Sri Aurobindo’s Integral Shakti in Odisha

Morning: Visit to Sri Aurobindo Centre, Puri to participate in The Mother’s birthday celebrations

Midday Conference:

  • Dr. Shyama Kanungo and speakers on “Sri Aurobindo on Odisha’s Light in the Renaissance of India and Revitalising Bharata Shakti” (including Dr. Alok Pandey on Zoom)
  • Nilima Bhat – “The Integral Yogini: The Mother as the Bridge from Past Dawns to Future Noons”
  • Interactive session – “Building Shakti Centers for Women Leaders: Vision & Strategy”

Closing Ceremony at Puri Beach – Celebration & Sri Yantra Ceremony

Theme: Consecration of Shakti

Evening (Sunset):

  • Closing ceremony at Govardhan Mutt/Puri Beach
  • Sri Yantra Establishment Ritual on Puri Beach for the Prosperity of Odisha.
  • Musical – Dance offering by participants
  • Final blessings from local priestesses/yoginis and elders
  • Farewell dinner
